Kara Winger is retiring at the right time

Kara Winger is an athlete who won a large number of medals during her career, and with each new achievement, the number of fans grew. The American javelin thrower has decided that 2022 will be her last year of active sports. 2022 will most likely be the most successful season.

She won silver at the Oregon22 World Championships in Athletics, followed by big success at NACAC when she won gold, which was accompanied by an American record of 68.11m, before finishing the season with a win in the Wanda Diamond League.

During her 18-year career, Kara Winger dreamed of such a successful season, but numerous injuries and, therefore, failures disrupted her ambitions. A successful career began by winning silver in 2005 at the Pan-American Junior Championships. Three years later, she threw the javelin over 60 meters and thus won her first national title.

Kara competed in three Olympic Games as well as in six World Championships, winning the finals in 2015, 2019, and 2022. However, everything was not always so great because among the many successes there were many missed opportunities due to injuries, some of which unfortunately coincided with the date of the Olympic Games. But regardless of all the problems, Kara managed to go down in history as one of the most successful athletes, thanks to numerous medals.
